Design Contractor
Towards a Better World L.L.C. (TABW) seeks a graphic designer and Squarespace designer (Design Contractor) to join our team!
TABW is a small, mission-driven communications agency exclusively supporting nonprofits and ethical small businesses through brand design, website builds, copywriting, and technical/automation services.
Responsibilities:
The Design Contractor will be responsible for:
Creating original, custom logos and brand kits for clients.
Creating social media graphics.
Designing beautiful, accessible Squarespace websites.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Canva and the Adobe suite is required. Because our team uses Asana and Trackabi for time tracking and communication, this role requires experience with or a willingness to work with these tools. Proficiency in Squarespace is strongly preferred.
Additionally, the Design Contractor must have fast response times and the ability to quickly complete projects for clients on sometimes tight deadlines.

Details:
This is a contractor role. The duration of the contract is one year. This role reports to the Project Managers. Opportunities for paid engagement with the rest of the team are offered but not required.
Pay: $25/hr.
Hours commitment: This contractor works on a project-by-project basis. TABW estimates that initially 1-5 hours of work will be necessary each week to complete assigned projects. Opportunities for additional projects and hours are likely to become available in the future, as we are quickly growing!
